# Wood Trails HOA Front Yard Policies

*Updated 6/28/2024*

The original "Articles of Incorporation" and our CC&R's are concerned with the outside appearance of the homes in Wood Trails. That is why architectural control is one of the main functions of the Board of Directors.

Your front yard is the showcase of your home. With that in mind the Board has established the following policies for the front yard of homes. We have established these policies due to complaints from other homeowners and requests for additions from homeowners. The goal of the Board is to try to keep our association looking good.

The front yard is defined as the area in front of the front plane of the house.

## Front yard policies

1. Fences over 4 ft high are not permitted along the front of the house. Fences separating the front and back yard cannot go beyond the plane of the front of the house. (See the existing fence policy.)
2. Storage structures are not permitted in the front yard.
3. Parking vehicles on the front lawn is not permitted. Use your driveways.
4. All trailers and recreational vehicles (including, but not limited to travel trailers, non-street-legal off-road vehicles, boats, etc.) shall be behind the plane of the front of the house.
5. No tarps allowed either on vehicles or over objects. Fitted car covers are allowed.
6. Decorative additions (benches, arbors, trellises, wishing wells, etc.) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Board.
7. Signs are covered under a separate policy. Please review it before putting up any signs.
