# Wood Trails HOA Siding Policies

*Updated 1-12-2011*

Presently there are a number of different materials used on the sides of the homes in Wood Trails. These materials are wood, stone, brick and stucco. We do not have specific standards for these materials, but the Board of Directors' overriding review criteria are appearance and quality.

## Materials that will not be approved

At present our siding guidelines is a list of materials that will NOT be approved. Siding requests that include any of the following will not be approved:

- Vinyl siding
- Aluminum siding

If any new materials are requested, the Board and the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) will examine the quality and the appearance of the materials and then make a decision.

## Approval process

All re-siding projects are required to be reviewed by the ACC and approved by the Board in advance. Owners should submit their requests in writing and provide a material sample for approval well in advance of planned projects. The ACC and the Board has up to 30 days to review, research and approve or deny requests. If a request is changed by the Owner or denied by the Board and a new request and/or sample is submitted, the 30 days starts over. This allows adequate time for processing.

If you have any questions, please contact the Board of Directors.
