# Wood Trails HOA Sign Policies

*Updated 1-12-2011*

In order to maintain a balance between aesthetics, home sales, security, privacy, Owner and Association needs, the Board, regarding posting signs in Wood Trails, has adopted the following policies.

## Signs on your Lot

Owners may display signs on their respective Lots that meet the following criteria:

a) One professional sign (contemporary real estate style) advertising property for sale or rent
b) Small security signs
c) Small private property, no soliciting, no trespassing or similar signs
d) Political signs according to state statutes and regulations

## Temporary signs in common areas

A reasonable number of temporary signs may be placed in the common areas and within the boundaries of Wood Trails that fall into the following categories:

a) Real estate signs advertising and/or directing buyers/renters to your home shall only be displayed on open house days and must be removed at the end of the day.
b) Garage/estate/moving sale signs may be posted the day(s) of the event and need to be removed the end of the last day of the event. Garage/estate/moving sales cannot exceed three consecutive days.
c) Association events and work party signs may be posted as reminders prior to and on the day of the event and need to be removed at the end of the event.

## Association signs

The Board has approved and posted signs within the boundaries of Wood Trails regarding trespassing, county ordinances, Neighborhood Watch, and use of the park. The Board shall post additional signs, as needed, to protect the common areas and address liability and safety issues.

## Enforcement

Owners displaying signs on their Lots that do not meet the above criteria are subject to fines if the signs are not removed when requested by the Board. Signs placed in common areas or within the boundaries of Wood Trails (not on private lots) that do not follow the above criteria shall be removed by the Association with the cost of removal charged to the offending party.
